VideoIQ’s open standards enable better interoperability and simple integration with partner solutions.
Customers receive automatic alerts when a potential security threat is detected using VideoIQ’s advanced video analytics software. A video capturing the complete event is included in the alert. The video clips are clearly marked, showing red boxes around the people detected and blue boxes around vehicles, enabling viewers to immediately evaluate the threat and respond appropriately to the situation.
Video alarms can be displayed side by side with live video, which can be viewed at low bandwidth (100 kbps) or high resolution (500 kbps), as needed. Push to talk audio allows operators or end users to instantly respond to incidents at the site, warning off intruders and preventing crime before it happens.
Up to 90 days of video is recorded in the iCVR and can be accessed at any time to help speed investigations. Video is stored at the edge, solving the bandwidth and storage problems with IP cameras. Archiving of video can be scheduled to run at night when bandwidth usage is low, when redundant or longer term storage is needed.
